Born in Britain and based in Cape Town since 2002, Vicki draws inspiration from the rich diversity of cultures and people that surround her. This dynamic environment provides a constant source of compelling subjects, explored both through spontaneous encounters and dedicated studio practice.

Working primarily in oils, pastels and mixed media, Vicki is best known for her portraiture, capturing both the presence and inner essence of her subjects with sensitivity and depth. Alongside this, she is a sculpture specialist, using form and texture to explore human expression in a more tactile and dimensional way.

Her broader practice also encompasses figurative work, still life, and landscape, reflecting a versatile and evolving artistic language. Increasingly, sculpture has become central to her work, offering a holistic exploration of form, movement, and emotional resonance.
